Punarvasu is the birth star of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy. Every month, on Punarvasu nakshatra, Sri Sita Rama Parivar Visesha Abhishekam, Homam, and Archana are performed. Punarvasu appears once every 27 days; in a year, there will be about 13 Punarvasu poojas conducted in the temple. As part of the Punarvasu pooja, we prepare special prasadam with utmost devotion and care. These offerings are then presented to Sri Sita Ramachandra Parivar, symbolizing our love and reverence for the divine. Punarvasu is considered a benefic nakshatra, associated with abundance, wealth, and good luck.
